He was recognized with Best Farmer award by Maharashtra Government in 2004 for his innovations in Jujube Ber plantations and it by products.
He was elected and served as village sarpanch from 1980-1990
Sahebrao (Dada) Pawar
Sahebrao is graduate of College of Agriculture Pune and holds Management Diploma from Mahatma Phule Krishi vidyapeeth, Rahuri.
He was elected served as village sarpanch from 2007-2013
